The applicant should,

1. be a foreigner with a valid passport;

2. have successfully completed a bachelor degree or a master degree;
3. have IELTS score (6 or above)/ TOFEL score (80 or above), or have HSK5/6 certificate, or pass the language proficiency test in interview organized by SWUPL.

Those whose mother tongue or official language is English, or those who obtain a bachelor diploma from an English speaking country are not required to provide English proficiency certificate;

4. be healthy physically and psychologically, and with good virtue.

Fill out the application and upload all required documents as follows:
        A personal formal electronic photo
        Copy of passport (the photo page)
       The notarized final diploma. Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. (If it is not in English or Chinese, please submit the Notarized English or Chinese translation)

The notarized transcript (If it is not in English or Chinese, please submit the Notarized English or Chinese translation)
        Language proficiency certificate

Bank statement or work certificate
       Research proposal

       Recommendation letters (2 letters from professors or experts in the related field)
       A Personal Resume
       Physical examination record (within latest 6 months) It must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.        Non-criminal record (within latest 6 months)

Notes: If you apply for scholarship, please download the scholarship application form, https://studyin.swupl.edu.cn/Download/index.htm. All the original documents shall be brought to university for registration.
